Opie was born here in 2007. She was purchased as a pup by a young family. When she was about a year old a reaquired her because one of the children in the family had develloped allergies to dogs. I was really lucky they gave me this opportunity. They did a great job raising her, I really thank them for that. She loves everyone whether it be human or canine. She makes a great house dog to hang out with. In the field she has great ability. She has a great nose, has a good pace, is very bidable, and shows a lot of intelligence trailing moving birds. Opie was sired by Greg Duren's Minnesota Hurricane Jet. Jet was one of the most naturally talented dogs I have ever trained. He is currently only a point away from an AFC title in very limited trialing. Opie will produce pups that are loaded with talent in the field as well as being great companions.
